DavÃd Ezra is a renowned colorist in the new york/new jersey area who has mastered the art of hair painting and color correction. His formal training began with his apprenticeship under the renowned Jacque Shelley. After an extensive training period in Paris, he returned to his native country of Israel to open his first salon in Tel Aviv. In 1988, upon moving to the New York area, he took over as Owner and Creative Director of Faces Plus Salon in Wayne N.J.
An expert colorist and stylist, David has traveled glogally, participating in 6 Loreal World Tours and all over the US to attend advanced color and cutting classes. He has over 20 years of experience with Hair Painting since it became an art in Europe. He brings his knowledge and training back to his loyal & talented staff and they have achieved a reputation for excellence. DavÃd Ezra founded DE Professional Organic Haircare in 2010 and recently opened his second salon DavÃd Ezra Salon & Spa conveniently located 20 miles outside of New York City. His new location now offers advanced education to include classes for cutting, styling, hair painting, balayage, ombre and color correction.
Hair Painting 101 is an introductory course in the art of hair painting. Learn lightening basics, hair painting & ombré techniques. This class is geared towards students & beginner stylists that want to build on their knowledge and experience with hair painting. This course will help you transition your clients from foils to seamless natural, sun-kissed highlights. Hair Painting 101 includes an extensive demo, hands-on, and personalized coaching from David Ezra Salon & Spa Creative Director & Master Colorist, David Ezra.
